Who has ever said yes to that question? But hey - if you are here, then you probably are interested in getting to know a little more about me - I'm excited you dropped by!
That's my dog Madison, we're just two M's in a pod.
That's me in the blue - I love to sail and during the summer I race with a team around Boston harbor in pursuit races.
I've been a total jet-setter recently and can't wait to plan my next carry-on only adventure!

Over my life I've had many outlets to keep various participants in my life up to date in the goings on in my life. As life has moved on, those spaces have all phased out over time and social media took over as the space to share. But like many of us, I'm getting tired of the constant drain that social media has devolved into as humans have interacted with it more and metastasized its original intent. Recently, I've been drawn back to a personal website - and my hope is that this is the space for those who are interested to come and find out about where I am and what I'm up to. I'll have an internet presence, on my terms, and that excites me again.
I resist the term - but I am a millennial - I grew up with the internet and the possibility of human connection via the world wide web has always excited me. At an early age, I was making friends in yahoo chat rooms and posting on friend's BBS; my favorite browser was Web Crawler because that spider with his magnifying glass just looked so excited; and html was the new language I was working to get better at and use it to design ideas I sketched out in Quark. Mavis Beacon taught me how to type and Reader Rabbit got me to LOVE books and reading and the other worlds that can open up. And yet - computers were always just a hobby for me - until COVID. After a life of extravert-ism working in live theater and events, COVID pushed me back into a world of online connections - and it excited me to be back, introducing more people to the possibility of human connections via the internet.
Fast forward to April 2023 - I listened to THIS PODCAST with Tim Ferris and Derek Sivers and I just loved everything about their discussion. But the moment that really got me was Derek's comment at 22:22 about his "kind of people." There I was in my car saying to myself - wait, that's me!
People who enjoy technology for its own sake.
People who have the initiative to create their own personal website.
So all in all to say - thank you Derek Sivers for reminding me about one of my core interests and reigniting my journey of digital independence. I'm excited about keeping this little corner of the internet mine and I'm so honored you, reader, came over to share a moment with me.
Want MORE? I'll keep rambling over on my blog if you care to peruse.
